We will make the initial configuration of your router.
The process includes:
- select and configure IP addressing;
- configure a DHCP server or a DHCP client;
- configure an L2TP / PPPoE tunnel from your ISP for internet access;
- setting up a connection to a local or global DNS server;
- configure network access via Wi-Fi with your network name and password;
- update your device to the latest version of the operating system;
- setting up a user account on the device.
And also, if your router supports it, we will do the following:
- configuring the basic Firewall;
- setting the device name.
All this will allow you to conveniently and safely access the Internet and reduce the risk of hacking your router.
We try to do all the work remotely, so it is better if you can give us access to your router via telnet, ssh or AnyDesk/TeamViewer. If you do not have this option or you do not know what it is, please let us know and we will try to solve this problem.
