According to the Russian laws, copyright in texts, music, graphics, design, online courses etc. is protected starting from the moment of creation of the artwork. Copyright is not subject to any compulsory registration and authors don't get any certificates.
But then how can you prove your authorship?
This problem can be solved through depositing (practically - registration) of the copyright objects in a specialized copyright organization. It is a special procedure that provides proof of your authorship of a specific artwork or a collection of artworks.
A copy of your artwork will be archived with the copyright organization (and not available to the public) and you will receive an author certificate and a paper or a digital copy of your artwork signed and sealed by the organization.
The certificate can be used as proof of your authorship in case of disputes. It is also a great tool for blocking "pirate" or stolen content online and in social networks. Also works pretty well in courts.
